Hudson’s Bay Company, one of North America’s oldest retailers, launched an initial public offering in 2012. National Equicom helped form key investor messages and translated the company’s new brand image into bold investor marketing materials that showcased the new store interiors and fashion-centric positioning. This positioning was reinforced by hosting group investor meetings inside Hudson’s Bay stores. National Equicom also managed all the logistics for the IPO roadshow including travel, accommodation and event management.
HBC wanted to position themselves as a large department store with a luxurious shopping experience. The gatefold was designed to match that high fashion look and feel.
We embossed the HBC logo on the pocket folder to give the IPO kit a sophisticated look and drive home the experience of luxury – resembling a seal of excellence.
